I have been attending the WhIstleblower Summits for many years. I am grateful to the organizers Michael McCray and Marcel Reid for making this event possible and for booking the National Press Club. I am honored to help design this program. I recommend participating in the entire summit.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Save the Date

Our beloved Dan Ellsberg will be honored at the Whistleblower Summit where he received the Pillar Award and gave the keynote address in 2021. We would not be as vibrant a community without him and are eternally grateful. Dan is considered the father of whistleblowers, and has also acted as a father to whistleblowers as he has personally nurtured those going through the trauma of retaliation. He inspired all of us.

8:30  Family and Friends will weave in themes of Dan’s life and personal evolution through family  history, nuclear awakening, Viet Nam, RAND, Pentagon papers, truth-telling and support of Whistleblowers. We will encourage people to find their "inner Ellsberg” and rise to calls to action which is what Dan wanted most.

7/22 - 30 - Virtual Film Festival 

7/28 – 30 - In-person panels on Capitol Hill in the Rayburn Building. 

7/28 - 8 - 10 PM Author book signing and Film Writers Roundtable at Busboys and Poets on 14th & V street NW.

7/30 - Memorial for Dan Ellsberg, Pillar Awards and Film Screening 6 -10 PM EDT National Press Club. 

The Whistleblower Summit is an excellent, important conference. We wish to honor Dan and to inspire courage, action and to make it easier for future Whistleblowers. 

Please invite young people to learn about Dan’s legacy for them.

The Whistleblower Summit, hosting this free event with few resources, needs $10,000 in contributions to cover costs of the reception, the NPC and technical support and other additions to the program, perhaps a printed Memorial Booklet.
