Good News and Bad News

As you know, Omicron is being spun in many different ways - from a “natural vaccine” safe way out of the pandemic to a new opportunity for hysteria and promotion of restrictions and a way to discriminate between the “vaccinated” and “unvaccinated.”

My question - Does anyone have data validating or challenging the widespread claims that Omicron is more dangerous for the “unvaccinated”?

The good news: Fareed admitted that Omicron is less dangerous - for the “vaccinated,” thus reducing hysteria for parts of the population and countering some fear-mongering.

The bad news: He is fueling hostility against the “unvaccinated,” recommending differential treatment and and encouraging everyone to get Covid shots, even if they have Omicron.

Potential good news? If we find clear data that contradicts his claims, and if we ask him to back up their claims with data, maybe we can get them to retract it. (I know, fantasy)

Like with the wildly, irresponsibly ignorant Supreme Court justices, we need to keep challenging their facts.

I confidently diagnose Fareed and his guests with a severe case of “Natural Immunity Denial Disorder.”

Here are claims made by Fareed Zaharia on January 9, 2022.

Fareed: Omicron has half the rate of hospitalization than Delta. I imagine it is much less.

Fareed: Omicron has one third the rate of emergency treatment than Delta..

Those with 2 shots + booster have 88% less rate of hospitalization than “unvaccinated”

Those with 3 shots who get the virus have 81% less rate of hospitalizationcaption...

Those with 2 shots have 65% less rate of hospitalization

Even though South Africa has a far lower rate of vaccination, they have a very low risk of hospitalization.

The above claim about South Africa completely contradicts every other claim made on this show. Is it not obvious? I call “poor reality testing” and denial.
