Here is a link to the June 27 episode of The New View: Crone Media. Almost every Monday - several of us, older women, interdisciplinary, lifetime activists - usually 4 to 7 of us - record a zoom which is posted later. We introduce ourselves, briefly comment on current events and then take turns presenting a topic and discussing.
We evolved organically from weekly phone calls initiated by Alanna Hartzok in February 2021 to share information and try to figure out what was going on in the world. We transitioned to zoom calls. The conversations were so interesting that Alanna began recording them and we morphed into the New View.

I resurrected this presentation which I began doing around 1995 (with my big, clunky, carousel projector and physical slides) at some Jungian meetings and other events. Due to many years of disability from toxic mold, most of my work has been sadly suspended. I am grateful for this opportunity to revive this and hopefully ultimately my model of human development and my unified field theory of psychology: Eros Development. (see chart below)
“Eros Perverted: Analyzing Violence Through the Lens of Gender” power point draws on concepts from Jung and human development. Eros, defined as the life force and union of the opposites, has often been falsely framed, genderized, and perceived as the feminine principle as opposed to Logos, the masculine principle.
Life energy flows on a continuum between the vital collective, relational human need to connect and the individual vital human need to express one’s individuality.
Attributing human qualities, like emotions or logic, to one sex or the other fosters a pathological one-sidedness that constrains the development of the Self toward wholeness.
Genderizing human qualities forces people to deny crucial aspects of the Self. Instead of healthy differentiation of the opposites, followed by integration at a higher level, there is a pathological splitting of the opposites and a dread of integration.
Genderizing issues in politics leads to policies that are out of balance.
Splitting of the opposites can also lead to fear and dread of the feminine and female power.
I posit that one’s gender is the position from which we all integrate the opposite to expand our ego consciousness towards wholeness, a wider range of experience and freedom to express and connect.
Here is a summary chart of Eros Development from 1990 (there is a more detailed grid with rows and columns filled in). Each stage of development as a relational task, and individual task and an associated worldview.
After my Power point presentation, Ginger Metraux, a channel and medical intuitive, talks about the frequencies of the dark and light masculine and feminine energies and how one can shift from dark to light deliberately and quickly. She shares her thoughts on what may have to be done in order to encourage the general population to move from dark to light.
Ginger then leads us through an insightful guided imagery where we experience a visceral, felt sense of several gender, yin/yang polarities.

It's obvious that much of the world is run by men who are still seeing the world through a toddler's perspective! People gotta grow up, because grownups who are true adults in their world view will find ways to partner for a healthy, happy world that works for all.
