I fear the very audience you’re trying to reach—those eager to vaccinate their children—is incapable of reading anything that conflicts with The Narrative. The cognitive dissonance is too painful.

The good news is that everyone else is already sceptical.

Probably so. I felt compelled to write it. Seeds of doubt are planted. As truth keeps coming out, some will connect the dots. .They are getting closer to the sun. Maybe it will bring us closer to the tipping point. You never know. If you save one life ....

💯👏👏👏

12 and 13, were excellent and quite frankly we wouldn't be in this mess if more people applied both.

Diane, this is beautifully written out so clearly and understandable. I sincerely hope that parents will take charge and be the boss of their kiddos.

Many are relying on their pediatrician.

As a grandma to 5 littles, I have been told to "butt out" more or less.... mind my own business and my daughters are looking to their "medical professionals" to make that decision

It is a pity.

Some of my 7 grandchildren are home born, unvaccinated and unspiked. Some are on the CDC schedule and 2 got Covid only after the shots, one got it twice. The then 4 year old happily got very mild, brief Covid before she turned 5 so I. am hoping she will be spared the shots. I have also been refused dialogue. I was only allowed to see them outside with masks until I got Covid and had natural immunity. I don't know how long that will be accepted. I know several women like us whose children refuse to speak with us about this. As they all get Covid after their shots I hope they may begin to see the light.

the messaging is completely "off"

I have not had covid. I did stupidly get the first two shots. No more.

My sister is in a study at NIH, (her former employer, as an RN) and has had 4 shots. She has had covid twice. The second time, was last month. She recovered after a week, and felt very weak. Then two days later she got some other virus that tested neg for covid but she was again sick for about a week.

My hubbs and I have not had covid. Well, we have never tested.

I have developed some auto immune symptoms, stiff joints. I also -- not sure if it is related, had my yearly (self decision since 2010) sonogram of my ovarian cyst. It always comes back the same, just a watery cyst. This February, it appeared "suspicious" I had a pile of blood work done and thankfully no cancers anywhere. I did have a hysterectomy three weeks ago (my first surgery ever)

My good friend's husband developed lung cancer in December, just out of the blue. Both of them have had 4 shots. Her husband died last week. Really sad.

Anyway, we are living in some very very discomforting times. I am learning daily about other grammas that are being cancelled. ... okay. We can cope with this Diane

We are in good company. We all have the same experience with family, friends and colleagues and find and cherish each other. All have friends and family with symptoms, cancers, sudden deaths and denial. Check out the FLCCC protocol for reversing Spikeshot injury and Dr. Henry Ealy - including fasting, tome restricted eating, autophagy, and supplements. Good luck.

Did you see the interviews with Ealy on Jonathan Otto's health series? Interesting guy.

Is tome restricted eating when you can’t read while eating? ;-)

I used the midwife center (now gone) for first born. Second, I had fibroids, huge, so was high risk. Went home 5 hrs and 12 hrs post birth for two.

Entire pregnancies and subsequent protracted nursing, I did not take an aspirin or sip of wine. And then they go and get the clotshots. Man plans. G-d laughs.

Some years ago a guy from Katanning in Western Australia was managing a boarding hostel for country school kids. He was molesting them, as was his brother. But he spent as much time, if not more, grooming the community into steadfastly believing that he was the Messiah and butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. So, when rumours emerged, the victims were not believed. Eventually, when the evidence was insurmountable, he was arrested but still many refused to believe their own judgement of him. One father admitted having entered a room and seen his son in bed with the guy - but the molester said "this is not what it looks like". The father believed him because the alternative was outside of his comprehension. His cognitive dissonance was mind-blowing. Ditto the thousands of mothers who hear that the man they married and borne children to and trusted with their life has been molesting their own children. If he descends into DARVO and denies and accuses the kids of lying, she will believe him and evict the kids - because the alternative is beyond comprehension (that her own judgement is dangerously flawed). I hear what you are saying Diane, and it is heartbreaking but apart from throwing ourselves in front of the King's horse (metaphorically speaking) they will shoot the messenger. How do you stop an out of control stampede? Not by standing in front of it.

Understood. Powerful story. I think it is more denial than cognitive dissonance, and poor reality testing, and fragility. Yes, we have a daunting challenge before us. What is DARVO?

Expand full comment

BTW Jumping to conclusions or seeking to take the moral high ground is unhelpful. I know what cognitive dissonance is - and denialism. When people are groomed and gaslit, they are blinded; to be in denial, you have to see. Perhaps we are all creatures of poor reality testing - nobody can know everything about everything. I go in peace. :)

Sorry for delayed response - other side of the world time zone.

DARVO is a classic tactic of, especially, sex offenders of children (or women in a marginalised category). Blind rage DENY and ATTACK the accuser and REVERSE VICTIM with OFFENDER.

Thanks good to know

How does denial (in this particular context) differ from cognitive dissonance? Or perhaps cognitive dissonance is a key component of denial?

Expand full comment

Cognitive dissonance is like of you work for a company that is unethical or corrupt and feel inner conflict so try to minimize it by rationalization. There can be denial of wrongdoing but there is a feeling of inner conflict that one tries to minimize.

Makes sense, thanks.

Leon Festinger coined the term, cognitive dissonance, perhaps in the late 50's? early 60's? Most people use the term incorrectly. This is an accurate explanation of the concept. Another example might be the frat kid, who endures an extremely difficult hazing, after which he views the fraternity as particularly desirable (to justify having undergone such a horrible experience). Same concept.

Thanks Yehudit Are you a psychologist? Another example - is one believes that spikeshots are safe and effective, but have an adverse reaction and then get Covid. This creates cognitive dissonance. It can be resolved by telling oneself it would have been worse if they didn't get the shot or in a mature way by acknowledging the truth and changing one's belief in S & E.

You nailed it. Heartbreaking indeed. The word seems too mild. How about "heartbreaking" raised to the power of infinity. Diane is to be lauded for an extraordinary piece to save lives.
