For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would ever again follow the advice of FDA, CDC, and all the other three-letter acronym organizations. Not only do they not help, they do quite the opposite. I say, get rid of all of them. They’re all hopelessly corrupted to the core. I can do better on my own.

The World Council for Health seems to be emerging to replace the WHO, highly funded and dominated by Bill Gates and the US. Each agency should be analyzed and evaluated separately as well as their interconnections - like between the FDA & CDC as well as similar forces driving them. Let's avoid simplistic, black and white thinking.

You’re right, of course. I’m just so beyond fed up with it all. I’ll try harder.

Thank you for this article. I remember reading traces of cesium were found in U.S. milk , grass , & water in the months following the Fukushima meltdown. #neverforget

Also in the 1980s Helen Caldicott revived Physicians for Social Responsibility raised awareness of nukes from reporting about strontium 90 in baby teeth.

According to Behind the Fog: How the U.S. Cold War Radiological Weapons Program Exposed Innocent Americans by Lisa Martino-Taylor, in the 1950s, Monsanto was involved in secret “tests” where the U.S. military sprayed poor & black neighborhoods of St. Louis with radioactive dust. When this was revealed in the 1990s, the government said they sprayed Zinc Cadmium Sulfide, but Martino-Taylor's book makes a very compelling case that they were actually spraying Strontium-90. Monsanto’s Clinton Era invasion of Ukraine. In the 1990s, Monsanto subsidiary Kelko marketed a product designed to "extract the strontium 90 contamination, particularly out of the bones of children.”

Thanks for this horrific information Alexis. Can't avoid the concept of evil. Also sadistic.

Reminds me of the Karen Silkwood case. The nuclear industry is well aware of the use of radioactive material as a covert weapon.

Wow. Thank you, Diane. It will take me a while to digest all of this, but the broad strokes are disturbing... and align with everything else we’ve seen from our captured regulatory authorities. I just don’t get it though... but I’m not sure I want to be able to think like the people who do these things either.

I guess we need to reclaim, uncapture and/or replace these agencies. Exposing their corruption and disregard for human health is a first step. Some may have started out with good intentions that were later exploited. It is becoming more clear to us how the FDA is captured by Big Pharma and works with the CDC and all of their fraudulent practices, etc - but I am curious about the Cesium 127 levels - which started before, and what the conflicts of interest are.

I think we may need to rethink the word ‘captured’, as that implies a helpless victim. I’m afraid ‘corrupted’ is more accurate. For example, ‘captured’ media should be ‘corrupted’ media, etc.

Excellent point. I agree. Wish I thought of it.

I just realized this very recently. We get some words drilled into our brains.

So, what I got from this, other than quit bombing places with nuclear weapons, was we (USA) had good vitamins and the UK didn't, so we were made to make crap vitamins, like theirs, and pay more for them. Did I read that correctly? Whose bright idea was the UN and all these other crappy world entities anyway?

I’m also unclear on the paragraph on ‘food supplements’. Do they mean supplements such as vitamins, or...?

It is confusing. I don't understand it either. But it reveals something weird.

That's what I was wondering, but since they didn't state it, I went with vitamins, minerals, other supplements of that type, in my mind. --- Either way....we make good stuff, they don't, crap our stuff up and charge more. Just like school. You can't do better, you have to be a screw-up, too.

How does anyone know they don't make good stuff? Maybe they do. Maybe it's more propaganda.

I'll weigh in here, albeit a bit late.

The Europeans aren't convinced that artificially high doses of vitamins are necessarily a good thing in promoting natural health. Therefore the supplements sold are much lower doses to try to mirror what might be encountered in a natural, healthy diet.

Based on cell biology, this caution could be merited, but nobody knows the real answer - not even scientists involved in vitamin research, and not regulatory bodies. I personally feel better when taking a stronger dose of some stuff.

Unlike something like sugar, where you burn what you eat, vitamins are signaling molecules that set off cascades via many complex mechanisms - different from cell to cell. The same vitamin may activate relatively insensitive enzymes in one location while also activating nuclear receptors that are 1000 times more sensitive.

So is that pill in your hand going to be a universal one-size-fits-all solution for every cell in the body and brain?

Editing to add: considering their caution about vitamins and other things, this article was certainly a surprise about the Europeans allowing such high levels of radiation in comparison to other places. Thanks for highlighting that info.

The post asked why the US levels might be set so high. Among other things, this works conveniently for industry, which disposes of nuclear waste in part by relabeling it as 'farm fertilizer' and spraying it over food crops.

Just saw this. Point well taken. Vitamins best in food form. When you have an imbalance may need more to correct. All god points.

Horrifying to know the reality that we're dealing with. Obviously this is not a new problem. Our public health agencies have failed miserably to protect the public health.

Thank you Diane. It's shocking and unacceptable to see the US FDA with such lax standards for cesium in food, especially baby food. And very sobering images of what a nuclear winter would be like. Many thanks to WILPF for their tireless efforts to end this madness!
