Diane, thanks for your profound efforts to save the lives of our most precious citizens. I am so disillusioned that this could actually be happening in this country. The level of intentional dis-information from mainstream media AND our public health agencies is horrifying. I have no words suitable to describe this nightmare.
I submitted the following to the NYT in response to the outrageous "Vaccine Mandates Aren’t an Attack on Freedom" column by Paul Krugman (BTW, "uninformed" is code for propagandized):
As someone on the Left that has intensively studied the medical literature on COVID-19, it's shocking just how uninformed Krugman is. There's so much more to opposition to vaccine mandates than rightwing politics. Because symptoms are suppressed, vaccination enables one to be out in public while sick. CDC now admits that infected vaccinees spread the disease. That destroys the assertion that being vaccinated protects others--the only legitimate justification for mandates.
There is absolutely no excuse for vaccinating children. They have effectively zero risk of death from COVID-19, while the vaccines pose risks significantly greater than zero. The reported deaths of many thousands of people were clustered within a day or two of being vaccinated. FDA claims that these are all coincidences, but can't back that up with evidence from investigations or autopsies. In the absence of risk, it is reckless to expose children to a product with no long-term track record of safety.
If anyone's noticed, the most heavily vaccinated states and countries are now suffering rises in infections, hospitalizations, deaths and--surprisingly--excess deaths. If the vaccines were working, that wouldn't be happening.
Thank you so much for your comment. Many of us have been dreading this moment and trying to prevent it. We need all hands on deck. The upside of all of this is finding kindred spirits like you and Michelle and others on the path. I have grandchildren got the shot this week, and others who will rely on their healthy immune systems, but almost all of their friends and everybody's kids are happy to get it. I am so psychically drained from the ongoing trauma of all of this that I'm going to limit my comment for now to thank you very sincerely and to let you know of this group which was just launched on Friday, specifically to organize the sentient and concerned (FREAKED OUT!) by this ongoing and latest madness and E.V.I.L. Just calling it what it is. As large and so-far powerful as this entity is, what else could it be but the absolute worst?
This group (The Unity Project) offers us something to focus on and solidarity of numbers as it grows across our beleaguered and ravaged states. Please consider joining. For our children and grandchildren, and our preservation of our own goodness of humanity as we've always known it. Thank you.

So well said. I agree with your assessment. Thanks for sharing the links. I too am so heartbroken and angry about where we are. I know that to even get back to where we were before this nonsense began will take heroic efforts. Although it appears the plans to get us here have been in the works for years. We just didn't know it.

There are a lot more potential adverse reactions from these shots than we have been told.

That was an outrageous statement that got quoted a lot - I am sure he regrets it - but all of the people on that committee reflect that mindset and have financial ties to Pfizer and all except one abstention voted to approve mowing the data was incomplete, falsified, cherry picked and they wil do it again this month for 6 month olds if they are not stopped. Sadly they will not rest until they have murdered all, down to a 18 month old embryo. (ultrasound injection delivery). Also, sadly, far too many sheeple parents will comply.
