I find it interesting that sociologist or psychological wordsmiths are using words of explanation in order to support inexcusable governmental and corporate murder and that "justice" is somehow attainable. Man's myth of justice is largely an insane house of cards, so that this kind of corporate behavior can be excused and cleansed, which means it will be ignored and politely forgiven, so it can simply be done again in as short an order as possible.

In the Emily Oster article she never said an apology, she never said "I'm sorry" or "we are sorry". She specifically used the word "amnesty" to completely avoid any consequences of her actions, like prison time.
I know that blaming others for one's poor choices is a symptom of a personality disorder. What about avoiding personal responsibility? Is that a symptom of a mental disorder? I know a mental disorder is not just about one single symptom, it's about several symptoms and a pattern of behavior over time.
However there comes a point where we must forgive them, but only as they do their prison time. There are already policies in place like the US Whistleblower Protection Act, and other polices like the VAERS death indicator, most of these policies were ignored. That tells me the problem was not the policies, but the people in power. They made choices to ignore the policies.
